The urban design of the Living Community mixed-use residential development is based on the requirement of a gated, low density and green community. 
It aims to be a special residential community that embraces modern egyptian culture and climate while setting the trend for truly integrated communities, especially giving particular attention and importance to open-air leisure activities (e.g. a theme park).
The plan preview a capacity of 500 dwelling units offering detached (e.g. the laguna villas) and semi-detached houses with private backyard and common green areas with paths, bycicle trails and playgrounds.  Other facilities include a retails zone.
